Kitchens, hallways, play rooms and boot room… all spaces that typically see more wear and tear than other areas of the home. Whether your walls are prone to marks from little fingers or muddy paws, when it comes to choosing paint, sometimes the most important criteria is one that can be wiped clean again!

 

Here’s our guide to painting those higher traffic areas of the home:

 

Start with a wipeable paint. Earthborn Lifestyle emulsion is a hardwearing, durable alternative to conventional interior paints. Because it’s free from harmful emissions and nasty paint smells, it’s suitable for all areas of the home. That includes children’s rooms and nurseries, carrying the Safety for Toys Standard  (EN71-3:2013).

Formulated for interior walls and ceilings, Lifestyle can be applied to newly plastered surfaces and existing paint work. There’s no need for a separate primer either, just apply directly to previously painted walls. Or if painting absorbent surfaces, simply dilute the first coat with water. As Lifestyle is quick drying with great coverage, decorating high traffic areas like hallways and kitchens needn’t take long. Which means you can get on with using your rooms as normal!
