Get creative with Earthborn Pigments. These natural earth and mineral powders provide a source of concentrated colour for paint blending and special effects.

With 48 pigments to choose from, they can be blended into any Earthborn interior or exterior paint to create your own unique shade of eco friendly paint.

Mixed with Earthborn Wall Glaze or Furniture Glaze, the pigments are perfect for decorative effects such as colour washes, dragging, sponging and stencilling. Some even contain naturally occurring metallic flakes to add extra dazzle to your design.

Earthborn Pigments are fade resistant and can be mixed with Earthborn Claypaint, Lifestyle Emulsion and Casein Paint. Many can also be mixed with lime washes, mortars and our Silicate Masonry Paint.

Standard sizes 75g, 500g
Special sizes 50g and 400g (Mica Gold, Mangan Violet, Salmon Red and Rhine Gold only)

Colours on screen may vary from actual paint. Slight variations in colour can occur between batches and finishes; the substrate and texture of the surface can also change the appearance of the final colour, as can lighting.

For our Silicate Masonry Paint to work effectively, you’ll need to use either our Silicate Primer or Bonding Primer before application.

Silicate Primer: For bare porous unpainted masonry substrates such as lime plaster, stone, pebbledash & concrete. When used with Silicate Masonry Paint it will create a highly breathable and permanent chemical bond.

Bonding Primer: For use over previously painted, sound masonry substrates. When used with Silicate Masonry Paint it will create a strong mechanical bond.

Our paint and primer products when used together form a bond to the underlying substrate to create a weather resistant, beautiful matt finish.

Our primers are water based and virtually VOC free.

HOW TO USE OUR MASONRY PRIMERS

Once you know the correct primer for your project application is in 3 simple steps

Note: Do not use if the temperature is below 8°c or expected to fall below 8°c within 24 hours of application. Ensure the correct primer is used on the intended surface. Some clay surfaces may require special treatement. Please be aware Silicate Masonry Paint must be used alongside Earthborn’s Silicate Primer or Bonding Primer.
